Stopped in again for another cuppa joe on a sultry July Friday morning during a nice long Salado Creek Greenway ride. All purchases are donations to this non profit cafe attached to a rehab ministry. This capp was much better than the last one I had here, and adding caramel flavor syrup didn't hurt it any - in fact made it extra tasty. Such a pleasant snd relaxing patio, although much cooler inside the busy restaurant. I gotta try their breakfast some time... Anyway, you should come check it out sone weekend - just be sure to bring cash!

What an amazing place! Everyone working there works for donations from patrons. Please be supportive and pay accordingly. The food is always first rate. The service is too. Comfort cafe is one of my favorite places to dine. Even the short walk from car to front door is beautiful.

Came here this morning while visiting our kids who frequent here often. The best breakfast I've had! The ambience is so thoughtful and a pleasure to look at. Our waiter Matt was also perfect, welcoming and efficient. Food came out very quickly. Coffee was also excellent. The vibes and mission statement are commendable and highly supported. Wish there were more places like this across the country! This was definitely a highlight of our visit to San Antonio.

We had brunch at Comfort Cafe, it was so good!! The waffles & pancakes were fluffy and the poached eggs were perfect! The story behind this restaurant and what they offer back to the community is heartwarming. Our server Jorge was a gem! Super friendly, patient and helpful; he even broke out his Spanish to help with a family member place their order. Jorge was just an amazing person; you could tell he was really grateful for The Comfort Cafe & loves his job.

Service and the food was great. They did have a long wait time during the weekend so I recommend checking in ahead of time. But we were able to enjoy the ambience while we waiting to be seated :)

My aunt's flight got delayed and we had to wait and decided we eat breakfast with her before she leaves SA. Then I searched a breakfast place near the airport and we found this place. I've read a lot of reviews from facebook and other social medias and wanted to try it out but that was the perfect time to try it out. My aunt is from California and loves to venture food places, and she loved it. We're glad we found the place and upon viewing the menu and server explaining how the proceeds will be to help recovering people from drugs, we were engaged to try and eat the food. They have inside tables but we decided to go outside since we have a dog. And that's the best part of it all! Pets are welcome and they even have dog bowls for water. Outside patio is very cool, lots of plants and trees. We loved the place and the food and we get to help people in need. 5 star for this place

We ate here this morning for the first time. Such a charming setting and the wait staff was exemplary. Everyone was smiling and eger to help! My husband uses a wheelchair when there is a bit of a walk, and it was no problem to get in and seated. The food was good and nicely presented. Such a menu!! We will definitely be going back for more. It's so nice to know we can have a positive part in so many lives.

My new favorite pancake place! The sweet cream pancakes are killer, so fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness... I think I've had dreams off these pancakes. George was our server, he was an absolute treasure! So kind and friendly, and even though he had a couple of large parties, he was still able to take of my mom and me. The restaurant was a little stuffy, they might have had an AC issue that day, but we were seated on the second floor, so it felt like we were in a treehouse! All in all, a great experience, and so thankful you can jump in line online!

Great food and service, takes a very long time to get drinks, orders to be taken, for food to come out, and to be sat. Long wait for everything. Take a snack while you wait:)

I FINALLY MADE IT! It was so worth the wait! Thank you for the great service, Ricky! I pray the God continues to walk with you throughout your recovery and the recovery of your peers at comfort cafe! All of the staff did a fabulous job, it's a beautiful location, and the wait was definitely worth it. I pray the all patrons are blessed with peace and patience. The hard work and determination of the staff shines brightly! I look forward to coming back in the future and getting to use the Yelp check in option! The food was AMAZING!!!
